Hapalodectes hetangensis
Taxonomy
Hapalodectes hetangensis was named by Ting and Li (1987). Its type specimen is IVPP V5253, a skull (associated skull and lower jaws), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Lingcha, which is in an Eocene terrestrial siliciclastic in the Lingcha Formation of China.
