Toyamasauripus masuiae
Taxonomy
Toyamasauripus masuiae was named by Matsukawa et al. (1997). Its type specimen is TGUSE-DT 1001-1003, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Oshimizu, Oyama Town tracksite, which is in an Aptian fluvial-deltaic sandstone in the Atotsugawa Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Toyamasauripus.
