Coelurosaurichnus schlehenbergensis
Taxonomy
Dinosaurichnium schlehenbergense was named by Rehnelt (1950). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Schlehenberg tracksite, which is in a Carnian terrestrial sandstone in the Benkersandstein Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Coelurosaurichnus schlehenbergense by Kuhn (1958), Schmidt (1959); it was recombined as Coelurosaurichnus schlehenbergensis by Rehnelt (1959), Kuhn (1963), Sarjeant (1970), Demathieu and Haubold (1972); it was recombined as Coelurosaurichnus (Dinosaurichnium) schlehenbergense by Haubold (1971); it was synonymized subjectively with Chirotherium postchirotherioides by Klein and Lucas (2021).
