Hukoutherium shimemensis
Taxonomy
Hukoutherium shimemensis was named by Qi and Huang (1982). Its type specimen is IVPP V6260, a skull (Crushed and broken skull with lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shimen Commune (lower bed), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in the Fangou Formation of China.
