Hukoutherium ambigum
Taxonomy
Hukoutherium ambigum was named by Chow et al. (1973). Its type specimen is IVPP V4233, a mandible (broken dentaries with incisors, canines, p1-4, and m2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Linnania type, Nanxiong, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in the Shanghu Formation of China.
