Ukhaatherium nessovi
Taxonomy
Ukhaatherium nessovi was named by Novacek et al. (1997). Its type specimen is PSS-MAE 102, a skeleton (skull with nearly complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ukhaa Tolgod (AMNH), which is in a Campanian eolian sandstone/mudstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Ukhaatherium.
