Pampatherium typus

Taxonomy
Pampatherium typus was named by Ameghino (1875). Its type specimen is AMNH 11233, an osteoderm (osteoderm), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Chlamydotherium typum by Gervais and Ameghino (1880), Ameghino (1889) and Lydekker (1894).
