Arganaceras vacanti
Taxonomy
Arganaceras vacanti was named by Jalil and Janvier (2005). Its type specimen is MNHN ARG 518, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality XXII, Tikida, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Ikakern Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Arganaceras.
