Millerosaurus ornatus
Taxonomy
Millerosaurus ornatus was named by Broom (1948). Its type specimen is R.C. 78, a partial skull (posterior half), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is New Bethesda Commonage, which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian terrestrial horizon in the Balfour Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Millerosaurus.
