Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
I. A. Efremov 1938Skull triangular in shape with a somewhat pointed snout. Nostrils of elongated oval shape, placed laterally and widely separated. The size of the orbits is smaller than that of the Nyctiphruretus. Behind the orbits in the temporal section of the roof of the cranium lie deep grooves covered from the top by overhanging horn-like occipital processes. The bones of the skull roof are with pitted sculpture. The medial sides of the pterygoidea are strongly uplifted at the suture with the basisphenoideum. Teeth somewhat more pointed than in Nyctiphruretus, exhibiting original differentiation, their apexes faintly recurved.
