Glacialisaurus hammeri
Taxonomy
Glacialisaurus hammeri was named by Smith and Pol (2007). Its type specimen is FMNH PR1823, a set of limb elements, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mt. Kirkpatrick, Beardmore Glacier, which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian fluvial siltstone in the Hanson Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Glacialisaurus.
