Neoparapterodon rechetovi
Taxonomy
Pterodon rechetovi was named by Dashzeveg (1985). Its type specimen is PST 30-5, a maxilla (Fragmnetary left maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khaichin Ula II [SMPE], which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Khaychin Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Neoparapterodon rechetovi by Lavrov (1996).
