Taxonomy
Meniscognathus molybrochoros was named by Nydam and Voci (2007). Its type specimen is OMNH 23743, a mandible, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is OMNH V61, The Blues, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Kaiparowits Formation of Utah.
