Taxonomy
Teilhardina gallica was named by Russell et al. (1967). Its type specimen is MNHN Av 5755, a tooth (lower M2), and it is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Donrussellia.
It was recombined as Donrussellia gallica by Szalay (1976).
