Taxonomy
Cerithium pseudoobeliscus was named by Grateloup (1832) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene-Early Miocene; Europe, Oman, Iran, Pakistan]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Telescopium pseudoobeliscus by Cossmann and Peyrot (1922); it was recombined as Campanile pseudoobeliscus by Lozouet et al. (2001), Harzhauser (2004), Harzhauser (2007).
