Strombina mira was named by Dall (1896) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Panama.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Anachis (Costoanachis) mira by Woodring (1964), Perrilliat and Flores-Guerrero (2011).
