Sister taxon: Pasquiaornis hardiei
Type specimen: SMNH P2077.63, a limb element (left tarsometatarsus missing 3rd trochlea and distal end of 2nd trochlea). Its type locality is Carrot River Bonebed, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine conglomerate/claystone in the Belle Fourche Formation of Canada.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Carrot River Bonebed
