Type specimens:

  • Pediomeryx hemphillensis: UCMP 30703, a mandible (right mandible with p2-m3 moderately worn, ascending ramus and anterior part of jaw missing). Its type locality is Coffee Ranch, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in Texas.
  • Procoileus edensis: F:A.M 31772, a mandible. Its type locality is Mount Eden, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Mt. Eden Formation of California.
  • Yumaceras falkenbachi:

Distribution:

• Hemphillian of United States (8: California, Florida, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas collections)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
