Type specimen: UFRJ-DG 116 Av, a partial skeleton (Slab and counterslab including partial right pes, a nearly complete tarsometatarsus and several apparently unconnected pedal phalanges, which are tentatively id). Its type locality is Pedra Branca Quarry (Crato), which is in an Aptian terrestrial lime mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Pedra Branca Quarry (Crato)
