Type specimen: MPEF-PV 5232, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Puesto Los Colorados, which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the La Colonia Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Puesto Los Colorados
