Type specimen: CD/8280, 8281, 8285 (maxillary sections containing right P1-M2 and left P2, P4, M1, M2). Its type locality is Coopers Cave, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial breccia in South Africa.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Coopers Cave
