Type specimen: SDSM 152447, a partial skull (left dentary fragment with m1 and m2). Its type locality is Arner Ranch ant mounds, which is in a Chadronian/Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Chadron Formation of Nebraska.

Ecology: fossorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Arner Ranch ant mounds
