Type specimen: Slide W-78-2 (11.7R, 9.1D); Plate 2, Figure 4, a microspore. Its type locality is W-78, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial siliciclastic in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: "photoautotroph"

• Paleocene to Eocene of United States (2: Alaska)
