Type specimen: IGM 7998, a skull (nearly complete cranium). Its type locality is 1.7 km ESE of Santiago Yolomécatl, which is in a Bartonian fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Yolomécatl Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at 1.7 km ESE of Santiago Yolomécatl
