Type specimen: NMMNH P-61152, a tooth. Its type locality is NMMNH L-297, Rio Puerco, which is in a Santonian/Santonian paralic sandstone in the Point Lookout Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at NMMNH L-297, Rio Puerco
