Type specimen: MHAS 128, a tooth (right upper molar (probably M2)). Its type locality is Antofagasta de la Sierra, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Geste Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Antofagasta de la Sierra
