Type specimen: CM 72773, a set of teeth (associated left and right I1). Its type locality is Rock Springs Uplift (UW V-78052), which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore
