Type specimen: UCMP IP 30226. Its type locality is Kirby Creek, east, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Sooke Formation of Canada.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Kirby Creek, east
