Type specimen: CIT 10436, an other (scale). Its type locality is Waldport, Yaquina Formation, which is in a Chattian marine horizon in the Yaquina Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Waldport, Yaquina Formation
