Type specimen: INGEO-PV 87, a skull (skull with associated mandible, and some fragmentary postcranial remains of the same individual). Its type locality is Right side of the Candelaria Creek, which is in a Huayquerian wet floodplain siltstone in the Las Floras Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: amphibious grazer

Distribution: found only at Right side of the Candelaria Creek
