Type specimen: MLP 93-VI-1-18, an osteoderm. Its type locality is Antofagasta de la Sierra, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Geste Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore
Distribution: found only at Antofagasta de la Sierra
