Sister taxa: Cirsotrema (Gyroscala) stueri, Epitonium (Gyroscala) barkerianum, Epitonium (Gyroscala) effingeri, Epitonium (Gyroscala) lycocephalum

Type specimen: BMNH G.68172, a shell. Its type locality is Fossil Bed F.2733, Zinda Pir, which is in a Lutetian marine shale in the Domanda Formation of Pakistan.

Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Fossil Bed F.2733, Zinda Pir
