Type specimen: IHN 6682, a shell. Its type locality is IHN 1005, Veinte de Noviembre, which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal limestone in the San Juan Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution: found only at IHN 1005, Veinte de Noviembre
