Type specimen: MLP 93-VI-1-6, a maxilla (Fragment of right maxilla with complete M1-3). Its type locality is Antofagasta de la Sierra, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Geste Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Antofagasta de la Sierra
