Type specimen: Holotype: LA-060, stored in the Department of Plant Science, University of Tasmania., a leaf (Cuticle). Its type locality is Loch Aber - Banksieae, which is in an Eocene/Eocene terrestrial mudstone in Australia.
Distribution: found only at Loch Aber - Banksieae
