Type specimen: USNM 119011, a shell. Its type locality is USGS 15297, Richland Creek, which is in an Arnsbergian carbonate limestone in the Pitkin Formation of Arkansas.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at USGS 15297, Richland Creek
