Type specimen: MfN MB.C.3954, a shell. Its type locality is Ksar Bouhamed A, Taouz, Oued Znaigui Formation, Tafilalt, which is in a Tournaisian basinal (siliciclastic) mudstone in the Oued Znaigui Formation of Morocco.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
