Type specimen: GSGM-05-CM-021, a partial skeleton (a complete, associated sternum and furcula, with sternal ribs and possible thoracic rib fragments). Its type locality is Changma, Yumen, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone/shale in the Xiagou Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Changma, Yumen
