Type specimen: XHPM 1121, a skeleton (Nearly complete and articulated individual). Its type locality is Sihetun, Shangyuan Town, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine tuff in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Sihetun, Shangyuan Town
