Type specimen: IVPP V 18409, a skeleton (An articulated skeleton preserving much of the cranium and postcranial skeleton, including 11 dorsal vertebrae, 16 caudal vertebrae, much of both the right and). Its type locality is The Gate, Bayan Mandahu, which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Wulansuhai Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at The Gate, Bayan Mandahu
