Type specimen: NMB H 19955, a shell. Its type locality is NMB 18510 - Rio Tuquesa [Tuira Fm], which is in a Tortonian coastal horizon in the Tuira Formation of Panama.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at NMB 18510 - Rio Tuquesa [Tuira Fm]
