Type specimen: FMNH PF6710, a skeleton. Its type locality is Hansen quarry, quarry 6, Wea Shale, which is in a Kasimovian marine shale in the Westerville Formation of Nebraska.

• Carboniferous of United States (2: Indiana, Nebraska collections)
