Sister taxon: Wuguia efremovi
Type specimen: SGP 2001/006, a partial skeleton (a partial skeleton with carapace and plastron preserved as natural impressions on three slabs). Its type locality is Haojiagou section east of Toutunhe river, which is in a Valanginian terrestrial horizon in the Hutubihe Formation of China.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Haojiagou section east of Toutunhe river
