Type specimen: SUI 32705. Its type locality is Montpelier Canyon, N side of Hwy 89 5.3 km E of Montpelier, which is in a Roadian offshore shale in the Meade Peak Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:
