Type specimen: MPEF-PV 3287, an osteoderm (anterior carapace). Its type locality is Los Chivos Hill, Cerro Barcino, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Cerro Barcino Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: amphibious piscivore
Distribution: found only at Los Chivos Hill, Cerro Barcino
