Type specimen: Its type locality is IU 13991 Weatherly Mountain, Huntsville, which is in a Mississippian marine limestone in Alabama
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Carboniferous of United States (8: Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky collections)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
