Type specimen: DT1-42, a tooth (left m2). Its type locality is Dor el Talha Idam, which is in a Bartonian/Eocene marine siltstone/sandstone in the Idam Unit Formation of Libya.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Dur At-Talah, DT-Loc. 1
