Type specimen: NMMNH P-60170. Its type locality is Crittenden Springs, Meekoceras gracilitatis zone sample 3, which is in a Smithian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 87.1

Distribution: found only at Crittenden Springs, Meekoceras gracilitatis zone sample 3
