Type specimen: USNM 125355, a valve (Ventral valve). Its type locality is S40, east side of Coyote Butte, Grindstone-Twelvemile Creek area, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone/sandstone in the Coyote Butte Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder

• Permian of Canada (1: British Columbia collection), United States (2: Oregon)
