Sister taxa: Winnipegoceras fragmentaricum, Winnipegoceras laticurvatum

Type specimen: RHF 59, a shell. Its type locality is Quarry at "St. Bartholemew", which is in a Shermanian/Edenian deep subtidal shelf limestone/shale in the Tetreauville Formation of Canada.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry at "St. Bartholemew"
